Here is something that surprises people when I say it. The most stylish celebrities in the world are not the ones who look completely different every single time. They are the ones who look unmistakably like themselves every single time. The best-dressed stars repeat themselves, on purpose, and that repetition is not a lack of imagination. It is the whole secret. Let me explain what a signature really is, and why it is the most useful idea a bride can borrow from a red carpet.

People hear repeat and think boring, identical, safe. That is not it at all. A signature is a through-line, a consistent point of view that runs underneath looks that may otherwise be very different.
